3 Best Holiday Drinks You Can Enjoy Inside Your Hot Tub

OUR HOT TUB BLOG

It’s the most festive time of the year! The holidays are all about spending time with loved ones, creating memories, and relaxation.

We are all aware that with relaxation comes spending time in the hot tub. This is a great activity to engage in with family and friends alike, especially when entertaining over the holidays.

In this article, we’re going to review some of the best holiday drinks to bring in the hot tub with you this season.

Of course, it’s not recommended that alcohol be consumed while in the spa, so all of our recipes will be of the mocktail variety. If you wish to add a little zing to your mocktail, you can do so after exiting the jet-driven water.

1. Sparkling Cranberry Citrus Mocktail

Add a little bubbly to your next hot tub session with this delicious drink. Tasty with and without alcohol, the sparkling cranberry citrus mocktail has a wonderful combination of fruit juices, topped off with a fizzy drink of your choosing. Kids and adults alike will enjoy this festive drink, no doubt about it!

INGREDIENTS
• 4 cups cranberry juice
• 2 cups pineapple juice
• 2 cups orange juice
• Ice
• Sprite, sparkling water or champagne
• White sugar, cranberries and orange slices for garnish

DIRECTIONS
Stir all fruit juices together in a large pitcher. Dampen the rims of your glasses with water and dip into white sugar. Add orange slices, cranberries, and ice into each glass. Pour fruit juice into each glass half full and then top off with sparkling water, sprite or champagne. Serve and enjoy!

2. Slow Cooker Gingerbread Latte

Nothing says the holiday season like gingerbread! Not only will this latte provide you with enough caffeine to enjoy your next hot tub gathering all night long, but it will also be a fan favorite among guests during the most festive season of the year.

INGREDIENTS
• 4 cups milk
• 3 cups strong coffee
• 1/3 cup sugar
• 4 cinnamon sticks
• 2 tsp powdered ginger
• 1 tsp ground nutmeg
• ¼ tsp ground allspice
• ¼ tsp ground cloves
• Whipped cream and caramel sauce for serving

DIRECTIONS

3. Ginger Basil Grapefruit Spritzer

Light and zesty, this drink is great to sip on throughout the evening, inside or out of the hot tub. We recommend serving this drink in plastic champagne flutes, as to avoid the risk of bringing glass into the hot tub.

INGREDIENTS
• 2 grapefruits, one for the drink and second for garnish
• 2 cups of ice
• 3 x 12oz cans of ginger soda
• 1 handful of fresh basil
• ¼ cup basil simple syrup
• Champagne (optional)

DIRECTIONS
Juice one whole grapefruit and slice the second one for garnish. Fill a large pitcher halfway with ice. Next, pour soda, fresh grapefruit juice, and simple syrup into the pitcher and mix well. Pour into glasses, garnish with grapefruit slices and fresh basil. If you wish, only fill the glasses halfway and top off with champagne. Remember, if you are adding alcohol it is not recommended to drink while in the hot tub.
